Wonderment.

An object for wonder.

An intervention installation piece in Southville, Bristol. This is a collaborative piece between myself and Libby Parfitt. We used chalk to sketch out a hopscotch and other interactive elements on the pathway of a local children’s playpark, aiming to record people interacting with the piece.

Interpretation Brief.

'The Chicken Chronicles'. After reading an assigned book on chickens and chicken care, I decided to create a publication outlining my experience of reading the book, and what it led me to consider. I illustrated my thoughts and opinions through geometric shapes and my own sketches.

5 hours sketchbook.

5 hours project, which entailed sitting in one area in Bristol for five solid hours, thoroughly documenting and getting to know the area. I fulfilled this by taking photos of the area and filling a sketchbook.

50 photo image combinations, exploring the way themes can be mixed to create new meanings.

Subject.

50 Photos project which entailed taking 50 analog photos covering random themes, and bringing them together in a publication. I chose to explore the theme of subject within photography, and how the removal of this effects the meaning of the photograph.

A personal map, created in Illustrator, using all my own vectors and memories as content.

Southville research. The theme I was assigned was ‘orange’, and I primarily recorded and interpreted this through photography.

5 Hours final letterpress piece. A combination of recorded conversation and observations, set along lines influenced by the geometry of the area.
